The controller ran on my desktop which was wirelessly connected to the APs. I bought a UCG Ultra to replace my EdgeRouter X. I got it setup, but at 192.168.1.1, my device list just shows the UGC. At 127.0.0.1:8080, I see my 3 APs.Ubiquiti 48V 24W (2x) - because the UDM doesn't have PoE If needed, I can still add access points. Ubiquiti Firewalls are complete trash as others have said. You might as well use your ISP router! lol. This is coming from someone who LOVES their Wireless backhaul and P2P stuff, and Wifi. They just can't and probably will never produce a good enterprise firewall. The three solutions we use the most are, Sophos XG, Sonicwall and PFSense.
