I did elves from 90 to 99 without shadow veil, if i remember it was like 120k to 140k xp/h. Without veil at 99 its like 165k ish but it varies a lot. If you choose to do elves or vyres the new spell is too good to pass up. For ardy knights or pyramid plunder you dont need it though
