It is asking for assistance from anyone currently able to adopt or foster a dog. "We are seeing significantly fewer dog adoptions than we did at this point last year,” said Dr. Sandra Strong, Director of Orange County Animal Services.Due to limited space and resources, we cannot guarantee that every surrender will be accepted. There will be a surrender fee based on the type of animal collected upon surrender: $50 for dogs, $30 for cats, and $10 for pocket pets.
