I think the advantage of flinch free 1 is it also stops knockbacks from monsters while shock absorber stops attacks only from teammates. Tho the good thing is it also stops big ones like hammer upswings, GL bullet barrage and bowgun cluster ammos. So if monster knockbacks annoy you, flinch free is still a good choice.
