The rapid yellow flashing is caused by the pinch detector, the contacts for these are located in the bottom part, you need to unscrew the bottom, scrape the contacts with a file or something and done. It's just from the litter getting caught beneath and affecting the adhesive. On the L3, I've seen it recommended to cut a sandwich bag and tape it over this area to prevent pinch censor issues. First one had no trouble with DFI for years; second one I bought refurbished and DFI went in 2 months. I replaced the DFI on first one, that lasted only 2 months.
